1. Eligibility
By using this site, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age. sktchLABS is intended for adult users who have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts and the right to upload personal imagery.
2. User Content & Intellectual Property
Ownership of Uploads: You represent and warrant that you own all rights to the photos you upload to our platform. Our service is strictly for personal photos. You may not upload paparazzi shots, copyrighted characters, or images for which you do not hold explicit permission.
Ownership of Output: Upon successful creation and payment, you own the final "sketched" version of your images for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not resell, redistribute, or use the generated sketches for commercial purposes without written consent from sktchLABS.
Privacy of Content: sktchLABS respects your privacy. We will not use your personal photos or the resulting sketches for marketing or social media purposes without your explicit, written request.
3. Prohibited Content & Community Guidelines
sktchLABS maintains a safe and respectful creative environment. We strictly prohibit the upload of:
NSFW (Not Safe For Work) or sexually explicit imagery.
Violent, hateful, or discriminatory content.
Illegal imagery or content that infringes on third-party rights.
Right of Refusal: sktchLABS reserves the right to review all orders. If an order is perceived to violate these guidelines, we will decline the order, delete the images, and notify the user.
Violation Penalty: In the event an order is declined due to a violation of these guidelines, a refund will be issued minus a 20% processing fee to cover administrative and system costs.
4. Product Quality & AI Interpretation
Subjective Style: You acknowledge that our "sketches" are generated via Artificial Intelligence. The resulting style is an artistic interpretation and may not be a 100% literal likeness of the original photo.
Image Quality: We operate on a "quality in, quality out" basis. sktchLABS is not liable for poor sketch results resulting from low-resolution, blurry, or poorly lit source photos.
5. Sales, Payments, and Cancellations
Final Sale: Due to the highly customized nature of our products, all sales are final. No refunds or returns are permitted once an order is placed.
Locked-In Status: Users are considered "locked-in" to their purchase immediately once the payment has been processed on the sktchLABS website.
Case-by-Case Review: While we maintain a no-refund policy, sktchLABS reserves the right to review specific complaints regarding manufacturing defects or shipping damage on a case-by-case basis.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." sktchLABS makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the continuous availability of the website or the absolute perfection of the AI generation process.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, sktchLABS and its owners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the site or the products purchased therein.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
9. Changes to Terms
sktchLABS reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the site following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms of Service.
